Allows you to use your Data East Karate Champ game board, in a JAMMA cabinet or a super gun device.

Karate Champ was a smash hit for Data East in the mid 80s. In the US, it was the highest-grossing arcade game of 1985 and one of the best selling home computer games of the second half of the decade. The game itself was developed by Technos. Karate Champ was highly influential, giving rise to other Technos developed games like Renegade and Double Dragon. The Player Vs Player variant of the Karate Champ, established the 1 on 1 fighter genre, and influenced the creators of many fighting games of the late 80s and much of the 90s.

While Karate Champ can be used with the Data East conversion class adapter, the game's 2 joystick controls and pin assignment are quite different from that pinout. This adapter attempts to make Karate Champ as playable as possible on a 4 button or a 6 button Street Fighter II control panel.
